The new coaches are built by the Tver carriage works north of Moscow and are air conditioned and wi-fi equipped. They operate in 15-coach rakes at up to 160km/h on the Moscow to Voronezh route.
Daytime coaches have interiors designed by Transmash and Italian industrial design company Italdesign Giugiaro.
