Iarnród Éireann (Irish Rail) has applied an historic paint scheme to its pioneer General Motors Class 071.

This new look comes hot on the heels of GWR’s repainting of HST power car No. 43002 into its original livery.

Both the Class 071 and HST are celebrating their 40th anniversary this year.
