RUSTON & HORNSBY 294266 – a ‘48DS’ class 4wDM – was officially named Sir William McAlpine by Lady McAlpine, in memory of her late husband, at the Mid-Suffolk Light Railway (MSLR) on October 12. ‘Shredded Wheat’ Fowler moves to the ‘Middy’
FOWLER 20337 of 1934, a 40hp-type 0-4-0DM, was delivered to the Mid Suffolk Light Railway (the ‘Middy’) in June following restoration, where it will be a resident.
