Pedemoura works first passenger train at LBR

Pedemoura arrived new at Minas de Peãjo, Portugal in February 1924, its name deriving from Pedorido coal mine in the Douro Valley. Repatriated in 1972, it initially went to Pleasurerail’s Knebworth West Park and Winter Green Railway at Knebworth House, near Stevenage, and subsequently travelled to Welsh Highland Railway (1964) Ltd (now Welsh Highland Heritage Railway) in June 1975.
