SOUTHERN REGION ‘Hastings’ DEMU No. 1001 broke new ground for the class on July 1 when it visited the Lincolnshire coastal resort of Cleethorpes.

The set was also due out on July 29, working a Hastings to Bath/Keynsham charter via Redhill and Reading.
