TRANSPORT for London has launched a 10-week consultation into the latest plans to extend the Bakerloo Line into south-east London.
Views are being sought on proposals for the tunnel routes, tunnelling worksites, and also whether to extend the line beyond Lewisham or not.

The proposed extension would run from Elephant & Castle to Lewisham via Old Kent Road and New Cross Gate.
It will help meet the needs of the capital’s growing population, which is forecast to exceed 10 million people by 2030.
The detailed proposals include an integrated station entrance at Elephant & Castle for the Bakerloo and Northern Lines; a new, shorter tunnel to replace the line from Lambeth North to Elephant & Castle; and the tunnel route forward to Lewisham.
TfL is also asking for views on proposed names for two new stations: one at the junction of Old Kent Road and Dunton Road could be named Old Kent Road or Burgess Park; the second at the junction of Old Kent Road and Asylum Road could also be called Old Kent Road or Asylum.
