More vandal attacks on heritage lines as carriage windows are smashed

VANDAL attacks on UK preserved lines show no signs of abating after carriage windows were smashed on three railways during July and August.

On August 5, the Bahamas Locomotive Society’s (BLS) Learning Coach (ex-LMS No. DM395470) suffered damage to windows at Ingrow station at the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway.

Damage was limited to smashed glass, and none of the computer equipment, sponsored by Mortons Media (publishers of The RM), was stolen.
