VALE of Rheidol Railway’s 2-6-2T No. 9 Prince of Wales appeared in a new Great Western Railway green livery at the November 26-27 Warley National Model Railway Exhibition at Birmingham’s NEC.

Vale of Rheidol Railway’s impressive display at Warley National Model Railway Exhibition featured newly re-liveried 2-6-2T No. 1213 (nee No. 9 Prince of Wales) in Great Western Railway green (right) and under-overhaul No. 7. & Metcalfe-built 2-6-2s that had served VoR since opening in 1902.
