Grand Central's 2,660mph train --Sunderland to London Kings Cross. We wanted to celebrate our direct route from London Kings Cross station to Sunderland Station, so we filmed the route in super speed -- enjoy!

The film covers the 266 miles (428km) from Sunderland to London Kings Cross

Sunderland to London in six minutes: The 06.51 train departs Sunderland, calling at Hartlepool, Eaglescliffe, Northallerton, Thirsk and York before arriving into London Kings Cross at 10.25 having travelled 266 miles (428km).

Filmed in the cab of a High Speed Train (Intercity 125) built in the late 1970s.
